How Boo Port Was Born
Bridgeport, PA (September 10, 2024) – In a historic moment for the Borough of Bridgeport, Montgomery County, the town council has officially renamed Bridgeport to "Boo Port" for the entire month of October. This comes after an extraordinary meeting where the residents of the Elks Lodge on Ford Street—alongside local ghouls and goblins—demanded their Halloween spirit be acknowledged by the town council. In response, a proclamation was signed by Council President Saba Al-Zaid, declaring Bridgeport the spookiest town in Montgomery County and renaming it “Boo Port.”
